GREEN GIANTS
Eating as much as 1.3 servings a day of kale, spinach and collards have been proven to slow the rate of cognitive decline in the brain making it equivalent to being 11 years younger in age.
The nutrients and antioxidants found in these greens, including vitamin K, folate and lutein can help keep your brain sharp. I like to get my daily fix with a spinach and kale salad mix. You can cook these greens as well.
The moral of the story is eating more leafy greens is associated with more youthful brains.
