There’s no question that we are living in stressful times especially having to deal with COVID-19. It’s safe to say that we’re all feeling a bit of anxiety, a little scared, uncertain about the impact of the virus and how our lives have forever changed.

With that, self-care is more important than ever. While we’re still able to get out, make it a priority to keep moving. Stay active. Go for a run or walk. Ride a bike, be mindful of social distancing. If we get shut in, we still have options. Sign up for a virtual class. There are lots of offerings these days. I will be offering one on one personal training via Skype to keep my clients moving. I have committed to doing something every day even if I can’t get outside.

These are important to implement into a daily routine to stay active, stay focused and help keep the stress levels down. Staying active is not only good for the body but also for the mind. It also helps us keep the weight gain to a minimum.
Stay positive and stay strong! We will get through this!
