There are a couple of times during the year that I tend to become introspective about life.  September and January are the two months where it usually occurs.

This year, due to the challenges of covid and the current climate that we’re living in, it has caused me to pause and reflect. This has been a tough and very painful year on many levels but I realize that no matter what life throws our way, it’s our ability to embrace resiliency that will bring us to new beginnings.
I rely on not just resiliency by my own devices but the strength to become resilient through God, meditation and manifesting positive thoughts and actions. What I’ve learned is that one must be at peace within to survive this game of life.  If something doesn’t serve your soul or has you in a perpetual state of uncertainty,  you have to let it go (work, relationships, etc.) and learn to be at peace with it. It is by no means an easy task but by not doing so, causes us to become and remain stagnant and we won’t reach the change or new beginning that we’re seeking.
“We bring about new beginnings by deciding to bring about endings. To renew your life you must be willing to change, to make an effort to leave behind the things that compromise your wholeness. The universe rushes to support you whenever you attempt to take a step forward”.-Susan L. Taylor, ESSENCE Magazine, Editor-n-chief
