As I wrote last month, it’s important to set a goal and map out the steps needed to reach our goal. This is how we achieve success. There will be distractions or disruptions along the way but we can still accomplish what we set out to do. If we fall off course for a day, don’t beat yourself up. It’s not the end of the world. Your goal is still within reach. If you fall off track for longer than that, you just have to work a bit harder to get to where you want to be. To keep the pressure to a minimum it’s best to give yourself a day to relax. This can apply to fitness, nutrition or any aspect of your life. It helps keep us balanced which in turn will yield greater results.
