We are in the midst of the dog days of summer and boy is it flying by! It’s important to step back from the hustle and bustle of your daily grind and take a time out if you haven’t done so already. This time is important to reenergize, refocus and do what makes you happy. This could mean taking a mini vacation or staycation, spending time with loved ones or just taking time for yourself and do what you enjoy.
During this time you still want to focus on your fitness but maybe spend a little more time outdoors. Go for a hike, a run, a bike ride or take long nature walks. Connect with friends and invite them to go with you. Do something that takes you out of your comfort zone or that you’ve been longing to do.
Life is short so do what makes you happy before returning to the hustle and bustle of the Fall! Enjoy the rest of your summer!
