Okay, so COVID threw us for a loop. We weren’t thinking about our goals as much as we were just trying to get by day by day. Well, we can no longer put our goals on the back burner. With the gyms open, virtual classes still going strong and the holidays fast approaching, it’s time to re-focus.
As I always speak of regarding meal prepping, the same rule applies to setting a goal and planning your workouts for the week. Take a look at your schedule, look at the days and times that you can get in anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour of classes or training. Take advantage of the weather and take your workout outdoors. Find a workout buddy, someone to be accountable to. There’s no pressure to try to accomplish everything in one week or one month. Pace yourself and most importantly, be CONSISTENT. Remember, every bit counts and something is better than nothing. There will be distractions along the way but the idea is to limit those distractions as much as possible and keep your eyes on the prize.
