Here is a no bake no fuss recipe for protein energy bites. Here’s what you need:
1) 1 cup of rolled oats
2) 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
3) 1/2 cup of flaxseed meal
4) 1/2 cup of crunchy almond butter (you can use peanut butter as well)
5) 1/2 cup of honey or maple syrup
6) 1 tsp. of vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Form into 1 inch balls. Place bites on a baking sheet or freezer containers until set for an hour or until set. Makes about 8-10 balls.
