Here is a demonstration of a hip thruster which can be done with a barbell or a dumbbell. Lie on your back with shoulder blades supported on a bench or pad. Keep spine in neutral. Lift the hips into a hip bridge position and then drop the hips slowly. Try for 12-15 reps.
